Fear of commitment

Suid-Afrikaners sukkel met ‘n “fear of commitment”.

Ons gebruik terme soos “ek is nou-nou daar” of “I’ll do it just now” wat albei beteken enige iets van 2 minute tot 3 dae.  As jy “nownow” of “just now” in die UK gebruik beteken dit basies jy doen dit onmiddelik…  Is ons laid back of kan ons net nie commit nie?

Ja, nee.  Wat beteken dit?  Stem jy saam of nie? Wat is jou opinie of is jy ‘n ewige draadsitter?

Laat my dink aan ‘n vriend van my wat so bang was vir commitment dat hy geweier het om ‘n selfoon kontrak uit te neem wat hom vir 2-jaar bind.  Die ou was ‘n top investment banker met ‘n moerse salaris en vodacom pay-as-you-go…
